3lbs of round steak thinly sliced
1/4 cup flour
1/2 stick butter
1 can (14 oz.) Beef Broth
2 beef boullion cubes
1 cup milk (or half & half)
8 oz Sour cream
2 small cans mushrooms
Salt and pepper to taste
extra wide egg noodles
In a large skillet melt the butter and brown the beef. Sprinkle the beef with the flour and salt and pepper. Continue to saute until the meat is a nice deep brown color.
Meanwhile in the crockpot add the broth, boullion, drained mushrooms and milk (or half & half). Stir well.
Add the beef and any drippings to the crock pot, stir a few times and cover.
Let it cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours. Add the sour cream right before serving.
